In the King’s Family as an evangelical episcopal church, we understand that the Bishop is the successor of the Apostles and he has been appointed as the pastor of a local church (diocese) that has been entrusted to him. By his episcopal consecration, he receives the mission to care, teach and guide God’s people being a symbol of the unity of the Church and a defensor of the Christian Faith. This ministry is developed in communion with the other bishops and under the teaching of the Holy Scriptures.
