The King’s Family of Churches, also known as the Evangelical Episcopal Church, has churches in many countries around the world. We trace our origins to the Church that Jesus founded in the early first century. We follow the same teachings, doctrines and practices established then. Our commission is to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God to all the world and to teach all nations to observe what Christ commanded (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20).
The King’s Family is Anglican in doctrine, Evangelical in ethos and Charismatic in experience. Thus, the King’s Family of Churches as part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, lives, keeps and proclaims the Christian faith and the Historic order through the Convergence of the three streams of Christianity: Evangelical, Charismatic and Sacramental/liturgical.
We are a communion of churches join together by the Convergence vision rooted in the Celtic Church. We gather as a family by a common beliefs, mission and principles with the aim to keep, share and provide support, cooperation, communion, and guidance through spiritual covering and an united administrative structure.
This is the reason why the King’s Family is not found in reaction to nobody, or to any specific doctrine. But it comes to be from the common union of different jurisdictions that gather together.
We have the understanding that the Church of Christ, it is much more than a message. She is the expression of God’s power and of his character on the earth.
